Smoke 'n Dudes is a family business owned by Tom Christine, his wife, and their two sons, Billy and Tucker.

We started catering barbecue in 1998, and throughout the years, we have also enjoyed running a competition team, two barbecue restaurants, and a meat processing facility. In other words, barbecue is our passion, and we have accumulated years of experience in nearly every aspect of barbecue there is.

Today, we run a specialty barbecue store where we carry a variety of smokers and grills, barbecue supplies, and competition meats. We are an authorized distributor for Meadow Creek, Southern Pride, and Green Mountain Grills. We also carry Wagyu briskets, Duroc pork butts, and award-winning sauces and seasonings.

Smoke’n Dudes BBQ started in the 1990s, as a weekend hobby for Tom and several of his buddies looking for something to fill their time.

As the Smoke’n Dudes BBQ competition team made its rounds in local festivals, fans kept asking us how they could purchase our food. This gave us the idea that perhaps we were onto something a bit larger than a pastime, so Tom, with the help of his family, started vending at BBQ contests and festivals, up and down the east coast.

Soon after that we started catering area weddings, parties, and corporate picnics.

Barbecue is food that brings people together. Everyone has had the typical catered buffet meals, but with Smoke’n Dudes,  guests were being treated to something homey and unique. Many of our customers remarked that they haven’t had barbecue this satisfying outside of the South.

In 2012, we built a USDA inspected meat packaging facility and launched Tasty Little Pigs, a division dedicated to custom spec and private label packaging for barbecue restaurants and festival vendors looking to fulfill their dream of taking their food to market. We work with customers, who would like to develop their recipes, but don’t have the facility or the means to package their food in compliance with USDA regulations. We also have clients who purchase our food and hire us to package it with their label. Smaller scale operations, who couldn’t get their food into markets and stores before, are now able to do so, with the assistance of Tasty Little Pigs.
